The Lowcountry Fire & EMS weekend is designed to bring quality training to the Fire & EMS services. This weekend will provide various training opportunities for firefighters to chief officers and for first responders to Paramedics.

What do I need to bring?

  • If you are taking a classroom course then we recomend a note pad and a pen. If you are in a H.O.T. class, you will need your full gear. (ie. SCBA mask, flash hood, gloves, bunker pants, bunker coat, and helmet.) *If you are taking the Auto Extrication you may use your extrication gear.*

Do I need to bring a SCBA?

  • NO. Thanks to SCOTT, we will have numerous SCBA's on site for your use. We will also have the ability to refill on site up to 4500 psi. If you use another manufacturer, you may bring your own SCBA and cylinder.

Do I need to bring my own lunch?

  • NO thanks to Air Methods! They will be providing lunch for everyone durring both days.

What about CEU's?

  • YES. CEU information will be available from SC DHEC. You will recieve course credit on your transcripts through the South Carolina Fire Academy, for in state firefighters.

Do I need to drive to my HOT class site?

  • NO. Transportation will be provided to and from the site location. Your lunch will also be delvered to you as well.
